GRAND FINAL | THAT’S A WRAP
And just like that, our 2026 season comes to an end.
While our U17s fell just short on the big stage, we couldn’t be prouder of this group of girls and the incredible year they’ve had.
We are so incredibly proud of the way these girls carried themselves throughout the day and the entire season. The respect they showed for the game, their opponents and each other, right until the final whistle, says everything about the group they are and the club they represent. They should hold their heads so high.
A massive shoutout to our four Storm umpires, Jenna, Emily, Bianca and Anchen, who represented our club on this big day. What an amazing job by all four of you! We’re so proud to have had you out there representing Storm.
To see a sea of Storm colours on Saturday, with so many familiar faces getting around our girls, was something really special. Thank you to everyone who showed up, cheered loud, supported the girls and stood behind them before, during and after the game. The love and support shown for this group was something else, and we hope you know just how much it means to them and to our club. Thank you!
From Round Zero to a Grand Final, this group has given us a season full of growth, belief, resilience and memories that will stay with us for a long time. What a year to be a Storm.
