GRAND FINAL | THAT’S A WRAP
And just like that, our 2026 season comes to an end.
While our U17s fell just short on the big stage, we couldn’t be prouder of this group of girls and the incredible year they’ve had.
We are so incredibly proud of the way these girls carried themselves throughout the day and the entire season. The respect they showed for the game, their opponents and each other, right until the final whistle, says everything about the group they are and the club they represent. They should hold their heads so high.
A massive shoutout to our four Storm umpires, Jenna, Emily, Bianca and Anchen, who represented our club on this big day. What an amazing job by all four of you! We’re so proud to have had you out there representing Storm.
To see a sea of Storm colours on Saturday, with so many familiar faces getting around our girls, was something really special. Thank you to everyone who showed up, cheered loud, supported the girls and stood behind them before, during and after the game. The love and support shown for this group was something else, and we hope you know just how much it means to them and to our club. Thank you!
From Round Zero to a Grand Final, this group has given us a season full of growth, belief, resilience and memories that will stay with us for a long time. What a year to be a Storm.
UNDER 17s | SEASON SNAPSHOT
From Round Zero to a Grand Final.
A season of new challenges, big growth, plenty of laughs, and a whole lot of belief in each other.
From stepping into a new league to finishing 6th and fighting their way through finals… this group has shown what they’re made of.
A little look back at their 2026 journey before the biggest game of their season…
TWO SLEEPS. ONE MORE TO GO.
Go Storm!!
The future of our club is growing — and we’re building something BIG to match it! 🌟
We’re incredibly excited to announce an exciting project at Ultima Recreation Reserve (subject to Council approval) — the creation of a brand-new junior football oval to support our growing junior football program. 🏉
This is about so much more than building a football oval.
It’s about building a home for the next generation of our club. 💙
But we can’t do it alone — we need our Storm community behind us! 🙌
There are plenty of ways you can get involved:
💰 FINANCIAL SUPPORT
Sponsorship opportunities available, with recognition for those who get behind the project.
🚜 MACHINERY
Hire, loan or use of equipment to help bring the project to life.
🌱 SUPPLIES
Seed, chemicals and other materials are all needed.
💪 YOUR TIME
Lend a hand, get involved and help us build it!
Every dollar, every hour, every machine and every helping hand gets us one step closer to making this vision a reality. 👏
Together, we can create a facility our juniors will be proud to call home and give the future superstars of Ultima Storm the place they deserve. ⭐🏉
If you, your business or someone you know can help in any way, we’d love to hear from you!
